Student Goals That Pay Points When They're Met

Set a goal for each student, log today's score on one sheet, and award class points when they hit the mark.

Individual goals usually live in a binder while the class economy lives in the app. You score the trial, then remember to hand out a point. Student goals put both on the Students page: one daily sheet, and points when the score meets the goal.

Open Students → Goals. The class Goals tab is still the shared jar. This pill is per student.

One Sheet for the Class

Sort by first name or last name. The first unfinished student starts open. Everyone else stays collapsed until you expand them, or tap Expand all.

Student IEP goal data sheet

Goals data sheet: log daily trials on one student, see the Met badge, and pay class points when you save.

Each row is the goal in one sentence, with − and + for today's score. Trials are correct out of a total (4 out of 5). You can also track a count, a percent of the period, a duration, or a prompt level.

When progress monitoring is on for a student, each opportunity shows a prompt code on the trial grid. Turn monitoring off when you only need a simple daily score.

When every visible goal for that day has a score, the student drops to the bottom as Complete. Save sheet writes the day. A second save the same day updates the score. It does not pay twice.

Points When They Hit It

You set class points on the goal. The default is 1. Set it to 0 if you only want the log.

When the day's score meets the criterion, Save sheet pays those class points once, plus 1 account point. The green Met badge is the preview. Coins land when you save.

These points sit in the same classroom rewards balance students already spend. Pair a behavior goal with behavior tracking. The classroom reward systems guide covers how those points get spent.

Apply Templates to the Whole Class

Apply template lets you pick one or more goal presets and add them to every checked student in one step. Each copy is independent. You can also add or score goals from a student's detail tab.

Not the Shared Class Goal

Class goals are one jar the whole room fills. Student goals are separate targets. Students can still contribute earned points to a shared jar — see class goal student contributions.

Only the class owner and assistants see this page.

Class Stats and Printouts

Class stats counts who is on track, below the aim line, or mastered. Print the filled sheet, a blank sheet, a student packet, or the class summary from the browser.

  1. Open Students → Student Goals

  2. Apply a template to the students who need it (or the whole class)

  3. Set class points (leave 1 unless you want a different amount)

  4. Log the day with − and +, then Save sheet

  5. Check Class stats before a meeting
