Classroom jobs are ready on Students!
We are so excited to put classroom jobs next to the roster you already open every morning! Line Leader, Classroom Librarian, Classroom Greeter, Clean-Up Captain, and the rest of the usual set are waiting on the Jobs pill.
Tap a job, pick a student, and that role is theirs. The card shows their name, and their Hero when they have one, so the whole class can see who is helping today.
Those optional points are the same class points they already earn. That is a big part of building a classroom economy that actually works: the job is part of the room, not a sticky note on the wall.
The usual jobs, plus yours!
You will see Line Leader, Classroom Librarian, Technology Helper, Supply Manager, Classroom Greeter, Plant or Pet Caretaker, Clean-Up Captain, Attendance Helper, Recycling Monitor, and Encouragement Leader.
Want a Door Holder or a Pencil Patrol? Add job, name it, and pick an icon. Custom jobs assign the same way as the built-in ones.

The Jobs grid on Students. Tap a card, pick a helper, and you are done!
Assign it for today, the week, or a date you pick!
Open a job and choose one student, or Random student if you want the class to gasp. Set it for today, for this week, or until an end date.
You can mark that the student volunteered, and you choose how many points to award. Zero is allowed if the honor is the point! Saving that same assignment again can change the duration or the volunteer flag. It does not pay twice.
Randomize jobs is the fun button. It gives every job a student for today, skips the points, and keeps turns fair until you have more jobs than students.
When the work is done, you can check the job off. Students and parents never see this pill. You assign it. They just get to be Line Leader.
The Hero on the job card is the same look they wear in student avatars. Watch a quiet student stand a little taller when their name is on Classroom Greeter!
Five minutes with the class
This can be a tiny, joyful moment at the start of the week. No extra chart required!
1. Open your class, tap Students, then the Jobs pill.
2. Tap Line Leader and pick a student, or Random student for a little drama.
3. Set today or this week. Mark volunteered if they asked. Add points only if you want them.
4. Hit Randomize jobs so everyone else gets a turn for today!
Those assigned cards sit on the same Students page as the Heroes, so the class can cheer the helpers together.

Second Grade on Students. Jobs is the pill right next to the roster you already open!
Optional points can sit next to classroom rewards you already give. If you want more ways to play, how to gamify learning in elementary is a friendly next read.
FAQ
Do students pick their own jobs?
Nope! You assign each job. Students and parents do not see the Jobs pill.
Do jobs always award points?
No. You choose the amount, including zero. Randomize jobs does not award points.
Can I add a job that is not on the starter list?
Yes! Add job, name it, pick an icon, and assign it the same way.
How long does an assignment last?
For the day, unless you set this week or an end date. After that, the card is open again.
Can two students share one job?
Each job has one assignee. Add a second job if you want two greeters.
